A rare signed photographic postcard of pioneering French aviator M. Pegoud.
Circa - 1913.
Pegoud shown seated in a monoplane, probably at Brooklands aerodrome 1913.
He was the first documented aviator to fly upside-down and perform a loop manoeuvre.
Various period inscriptions on reverse - "First man to fly upside down at Brooklands
who came over London in day time with 20 machines"
Sadly he was killed by Baron Von Richthofen (The Red Baron) at the end of the war.
Good overall condition with large signature in black ink.
