1929 Schneider Trophy programme in good original condition. There is some light staining to the covers - the staples are slightly rusty.
All pages are complete, the middle section is loose. Interestingly the original owner filled in the relevant competitor times etc.
Also included are two excellent postcards showing a map of the course and the British team of that year.
The 1929 contest was held over Sept 6th & 7th with the start / finish line being Ryde Pier, Isle Of Wight. Total race distance to be 350 km or 217.7 land miles.
The winner, with an average speed of 328.64 mph was Richard Waghorn flying a Supermarine S.6.
A Rare Surviving Early Air Race Programme.
