A rare and particularly early example of a Jaeger - Paris aircraft tachometer.
Circa - 1913 / 14
In excellent untouched original condition, having a fine silvered dial and
thick bevelled glass. Unusually it has a fixed hinged case to allow adjustment
or lubrication without having to be removed from the cockpit.
The mechanism is complete but currently does not move the needle.
A very similar instrument is displayed in the Museum Of Air & Space
Le Bourget, Paris.
