A rare WW1 Royal Flying Corps Mark III aeroplane dashboard lighting switchbox.
Manufactured by A.P Lundberg & Sons, London.
Circa - 1916.
Used for the operation of small cockpit lamps including as marked:
AIRSPEED
COMPASS
ANEROID (Altimeter)
REV COUNTER
MISC
ACCUMULATOR
In overall good original condition having fine gilt brass switch leavers and a mahogany
case. There were several variations of the cockpit switchbox, some were completed
to a lesser standard - this is the best quality of the series.
Correctly stamped with the Royal Flying Corps arrow proving its use during WW1.
