A rare large diameter WW1 aircraft wooden generator propeller.

In lovely original condition with no damage to the blades, retaining
its original finish having gained a deep colour.
Riveted brass central sleeve fitted to the boss as a bearing
for the generator shaft.
Fitted to night flying aircraft of the period to run a generator
for cockpit lighting or heated flying clothing.
Well stamped with the Royal Flying Corps mark.
(A) over broad arrow, proving its use during WW1.
