An original 19th century tower or turret clock by Ross, Exeter, England.
Dated - 1852.
Very complete including the original tower copper clock dial, hands, pendulum, weights,
winding mechanism and pulley wheels.
Full history from new when commissioned for St Marks Church, Dawlish, Devon in 1850.
Rescued in 1976 when the church was to be demolished and saved from being scrapped.
The mechanism had some light restoration work at that time but has not been touched since.
Would make a fine addition to a garage / workshop or unique building project.
